HIDALGO – A man wanted for child indecency was arrested at the Hidalgo International Bridge on Wednesday.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection say 56-year-old Jose Maria Ontiveros had an active warrant for indecency with a child out of Crane County.

The warrant was discovered after CBP conducted a biometric verification through their databases.

The Hidalgo Police Department took Ontiveros into custody.
