MISSION – A mumps case is confirmed at Bryan Elementary School in Mission.

The Hidalgo County Health Department confirms the case to CHANNEL 5 NEWS.

The chief administrative officer, Eddie Olivarez, says Mission Consolidated Independent School District sent an advisory for that campus.

Hidalgo County confirmed the number of mumps cases jumped to 46 Wednesday.

Cameron County confirmed 25 cases; 21 of the cases were travel-related.
