MCALLEN - A perfect Christmas gift for a doctor is the patient thanking him for saving his life.
As a five year old boy, Sebastian Vasquez looked into an aquarium while he was getting chemotherapy.
He's now 25, alive, and still not giving up.
Vasquez's mother, Becky Noyola, was forced to make inconvenient trips to Houston to get care for her son.
There were no services for Vasquez in the Valley when he was diagnosed in 1999.
Then the Vannie Cook Children's Cancer Clinic opened up.
Vasquez was one of the first children to complete treatment at the clinic in 2002. 20 years later he met up with doctor Rodrigo Erana. One of the doctors standing by him every step of the way.
