Cameron County judge orders curfew at Laguna Heights following deadly tornado
A curfew will go into effect late Saturday night following tornado that killed at least one person in Laguna Heights.
The curfew was announced by Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino Jr., who also signed a disaster declaration in response to the storm.
The curfew is between the hours of 11 p.m. through 6 a.m., and will remain in place until Tuesday, May 23.
Those 17 and younger who are not in their homes during the curfew will be subject to a fine between $500 ad $1,000.
