BROWNSVILLE – Rio Grande Valley law enforcement agencies are on the lookout for registered sex offenders.
The Cameron County Sheriff’s Office says there are over 700 sex offenders registered in their database.
Three hundred of those are on probation and will have to report to designated round-up locations across the county from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday night.
All others are required to stay home, keep the lights off and not give out candy.
KRGV’s Sierra Pizarro has more details on this effort to keep the streets safe this Halloween.
