RIO GRANDE VALLEY- With recent hot temperatures on the minds of many, it's important to remember hurricane season is underway.
Organizations in the valley are working to prepare, in case a storm hits.

South Texas Director, Todd Breland said after last June's floods, they're in need of at least 30 more boats.
CHANNEL 5's Cecilia Gutierrez spoke to him about the organization's goals.
