The woman killed in an auto-pedestrian crash Wednesday night in Brownsville has been identified.
According to Brownsville Police Department spokesperson, Abril Luna, the woman was identified as 68-year-old Maria Magdalena Richardson.
The crash occurred at the 200 block of Old Port Isabel Road at around 6:30 p.m.
Richardson was hospitalized, but later died from her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The driver was not found at fault for the accident, according to Luna.
