The Brownsville Police Department is investigating after a woman died following a Wednesday auto-pedestrian crash, according to department spokesperson Investigator Abril Luna.

The crash happened Wednesday at around 6:30 p.m. at the 2700 block of Boca Chica Boulevard, Luna said.

The unidentified woman died after she was hospitalized.

According to Luna, the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
