BROWNSVILLE – Police arrest two men for assaulting a clerk and robbing a convenience store.

Mark Anthony Gant and Arturo Silguero Jr. were arrested this week, while the identity of the third fugitive is still unknown.

Brownsville police say the three fugitives were on the loose following several robberies.

"In this case the Brownsville police department requested assistance from the marshals and they granted that request," says detective Melissa Gonzalez.

Gonzalez says that request led to the fugitive’s arrest.
