PALMVIEW – The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man’s body was found on the side of the road north of Palmview.

According to the county sheriff’s spokesperson, the body was discovered near La Gallina Road and 107 around 12:30 p.m.

Authorities said it’s an equivocal death, meaning no cause of death is being ruled out. All possibilities are being investigated. 

The approximate age of the person or any other details are still unknown.
