UPDATE (6:00 p.m.): Authorities say at around 4:30 p.m. a man went to a residence to repossess property, when the homeowner shot at him.

No injuries were reported; one person was arrested.

Veterans Middle School and Salazar Elementary were on lockdown through the incident.

DONNA – Police are responding to an emergency situation outside two Donna schools.

Police are on scene near Ramsey Road and North Goolie Road, near Veterans Middle School and Salazar Elementary.

Donna dispatch says it’s an emergency response.              

The San Juan SWAT team is reportedly also responding to the situation.
