ALTON - DPS troopers arrested a man accused of robbing an Alton store at gunpoint on Friday.

Alton police said the man robbed a Stripes convenience store and fled the scene.

According to police, he was already wanted for a separate burglary.

Troopers arrested him following a pursuit.

DPS Lt. Johnny Hernandez said he'll face charges of marijuana possession and robbery in Alton.
