$750K Worth of Narcotics Seized at Anzalduas Port of Entry
MISSION - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Anzalduas port of entry seized a load of cocaine and heroin worth more than $750,000.
CBP officers at the Anzalduas International Bridge stopped an SUV driven by a 44-year-old Mexican national from Monterrey.
After a search, officers discovered 28 packages containing 72 pounds of cocaine and two packages containing nearly five pounds of heroin.
The man was arrested and is DHS custody.
