Election Day for runoff and special elections in Donna and Mission set for Saturday

The cities of Donna and Mission are having elections Saturday.
The city of Donna will have three run-off elections, including for the mayoral seat.
Incumbent Ricardo “Rick” Morales will face challenger David Morelo after neither candidate gained 51% of the vote or more in the November election.
Also on the ballot is the place one and three council member seats.
Incumbent Richie Moreno will once again face challenger Jesse “Coach” Jackson for the place one seat.
Lupita Bueno and Ernesto Lugo will face off in the place 3 race.
The polling location in Donna is at the Amigos Del Valle center on Silver Avenue. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
A special election for the place three city council seat in Mission is also set for Saturday.
Peter Geddes, Noel Salinas, Marissa Ortega Gerlach and Abraham Padron are running for the seat.
Mission voters can go to Mission City Hall or the Mission Boys and Girls Club at Banworth Park from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
