Major improvements are on the way to the Mid-Valley Airport in Weslaco.
The city partnered up with the Texas Department of Transportation and two other agencies to make over $2.5 million in infrastructure improvements.
The project will include two new hangers, six spaces for jets and two additional buildings.
Construction is expected to be completed in November.
