Drainage Water Backs into Woman's Yard

Woman tired of swamp like conditions

MISSION- Concepcion Ayala's property has been submerged in drainage water, raw sewage, and fuel for the past seven weeks.

Construction nearby caused the land to raise up and drainage to flow into Ayala's property. After being without water for almost a week she called the Justice Advocacy Group who contacted NEWSCHANNEL 5 On Your Side for help.

Hidalgo County send out two trucks to pump out the water and a plumber to restore water. Ayala's water line was broken because of the sinking property.

Precinct Three Commissioner Joe Flores offered to pay the plumbing costs with his own money and tonight, Ayala's property is dry and she has running water.
