KRGV NEWSCHANNEL 5 has a job opening for an Internet Development Specialist. The I.D.S. will create, manage, and oversee all sales-based internet projects for NEWSCHANNEL5.TV. Duties include: Overseeing content and development of sales campaigns; new internet revenue ideas; packaging interactive media campaigns, and making the RGV's #1 media web site continue to grow.
The specialist will collaborate with NEWSCHANNEL 5 account executives to develop and sell online advertising campaigns. Candidate with familiarity in database-driven web design and content as well as skills in web development and web-project planning is a plus. Candidate must have through knowledge of internet ad specifications and vocabulary.

McAllen Area New Business Account Executive
KRGV-TV NEWSCHANNEL 5 is seeking a McAllen Area New Business Account Executive to service existing clients and develop new accounts. This dynamic individual will be responsible for all aspects of servicing clients of NEWSCHANNEL 5 including new business development, overseeing production of commercials, commercial scheduling, billing, and collections.
We are looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, and client-focused individual. Strong communication skills are critical to high performance. Responsible for selling NEWSCHANNEL 5, Latin Alternative Television (LATV) and our internet site, KRGV.com. Hence, strong internet knowledge is a plus.
Success will be measured by ability to meet and exceed budget and new business development goals.
The ideal candidate will be able to multitask between local direct, local agency, regional agency and internet clients.
A minimum of two years media and/or marketing background in the Rio Grande Valley is a plus. Some college education is preferred.
Must have a good driving record and reliable transportation. Company requires insurance coverage and valid driver's license.

Part-Time Teleprompter Operator
Duties: Will work a split shift. Must be available for work from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and again from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. every day.
This person will help answer newsroom phones, do script filing, and operate the teleprompter. Candidate must be dependable, work well with others, and be conscientious about their duties.
