Suspect refused to identify herself
HARLINGEN - A woman accused of evading arrest had her bond set at $4,000. Belinda Mata was arrested late last night. Police say they were conducting an investigation at the 1100 block of Morgan Boulevard, when they met up with Mata. They tell us she refused to identify herself and tried to drive away. Officers caught up with her, and then she properly identified herself. She was charged with evading arrest.
